This is a comfortable family friendly renovated (in 2022) 2 bedroom kiwi bach. The open plan kitchen/living area means you won't miss the lovely views to the entrance of the Hokianga harbour. The deck is fully fenced (no access from outside, only through house), and is a very relaxing area for BBQ's and watching the sun go down in the evenings. We are only a short walk to the beach, wharf and playground.
Please note that this property is not accessibility friendly, a short sharp hill is walked up to the entrance with several single steps inside.
There is lots to do in the local area from fishing off the beach, wharf, rocks or boat (plenty of parking here for a boat and boat ramp just along the road), boutique cafes and The heads hotel is just 2 minutes walk along the road. Take a boat trip around the harbour and go boogie boarding down the sand dunes. Visit the mighty Tane Mahuta (giant kauri tree) or sit back with a book on the sunny deck. The children will enjoy the play ground and beach just across the road.
To note:
The front Unit pictured is for private family use, sometimes occupied during bookings, however on request you can book full property and make use of both dwellings. These dwellings are completely seperate with no shared facilities.
We ask that our guests please remove all their non recyclable rubbish when they leave as there is no rubbish collection and under Kiwi bach tradition you are expected to leave the property as you find it.
